Chronic Oedema Solutions (COS) is passionate that all older people have a good quality of life. Chronic oedema in the aging population is a prevalent issue that must be detected and effectively managed to prevent further complications.
COS has developed a framework and evidence-based education supported by resources that will enable organisations and their workforce to deliver a streamlined effective management strategy. This has been designed to meet the aged care quality standards.

Partnering with Lymphoedema Education Solutions (LES)
Education and skill development is the cornerstone to implementing a chronic oedema management strategy. This is delivered by Maree O’Connor, Physiotherapist and LES, who have been delivering education programs on lymphoedema and chronic oedema since 1994. These courses have been delivered both within Australia and internationally.
The LES Chronic Oedema Lower Limb course is accredited by the Australasian Lymphology Association and recognised as an elective option for post graduate wound courses at Monash University
LES courses are current, practical and delivered in a way that engages the individual and builds on their prior knowledge and clinical reasoning. Knowledge and skills can be immediately utilised in clinical practice.
